Tunc Tezel, a Turkish amateur astronomer and night sky photographer, has been interested in the night sky since 1992. After graduating with a civil engineering degree in 2002, he spent time observing, trekking, bird watching, and skiing. Tezel's specialty is capturing rare conjunctions and occultations of stars, planets, and clusters near the Moon.
